The forever easter gift... Imagine their joy when they unwrap a delightful Easter surprise nestled within the folds of a luxurious scarf, inspired by the enchanting landscapes of the English countryside.

As they unravel the layers, they're greeted by the whimsical charm of intricately drawn woodland creatures and the magic that lies within the meadow. This well-wrapped gift encapsulates the spirit of Easter, a celebration of lifelong gifts, new beginnings and the beauty that surrounds us.

We love this 'forever' easter gift, chocolate comes and goes but silk scarves are a timeless piece and they serve us all year long. We especially love this gift because it is eco-friendly and low waste. Your wrapping material is going to be reused and is designed to be totally wearable. Environmentally and wardrobe friendly!

Read below and you can learn two of our favourite wrapping techniques inspired by Furoshiki - Japanese Cloth Wrapping. This technique is bouncy, and flowing and looks so lovingly wrapped.

Materials Needed:

  • Easter Egg
  • Square Fable England Scarf
  • Elastic Band or Thin Hair Band (x2 for second wrap style)

Wrapping Technique: Flower Wrap
(Very Easy!)

Instructions:
1. Place your glass on the centre of the table
2. Put your silk scarf over the top of the glass, ensuring the glass is central with the print facing down
3. Pop your egg on top of the glass so it is secure
4. Grab all four corners of your scarf, bringing them to a point above your egg
5. Holding all four corners, run your hand from the top of the scarf to the top of the egg
6. From here, secure the silk scarf in place by tieing your elastic band around twice
8. Proceed to individually loop all four corners of your scarf through the second tie loop
9. Pull the four ends of the scarf down and make the top bouncy and gorgeous as shown here

Wrapping Technique: Bow
(Moderately Easy)

Instructions:
1. Place your glass on the centre of the table
2. Put your silk scarf over the top of the glass, ensure the glass is central and the print is facing down
3. Pop your egg on top of the glass so it is secure
4. Grab two opposite corners of your scarf and bring them together in a point
5. Taking your other hand tie your band twice around the two points at the top of the egg
6. Once your scarf is secured and tied, grab the loose ends of your scarf that you haven't used yet
7. Like before, bring the two loose ends together into a point and run your other hand from the top of the scarf to the top of the egg, tie another band around your two loose pieces here
8. Once tied, proceed with these two ends and wrap them once to cover your band
9. From here, take one end and wrap it around your finger creating a loop
10. Hold this in place and use the other end to wrap around your loop
11. Pull this through to make a bow, both sides of the bow can be pulled apart to make the bow larger and oh so pretty
